Most people can easily spot the difference between real and fake pearls.  But what's the difference among "real" pearls?  I've thrown together an infographic with quick facts to help differentiate the differences.  Given that only 5% of pearls are saltwater its safe to assume that you probably possess freshwater pearls.  And given the price of a natural pearl, its also safe to assume they're cultured.
